In his paintings, Nick Morte expands limits of reality, pushing borders of consciousness towards the hallucinatory, dream-like state of mind.
Nick refers to his creative work as “endless road of soul searching”. Progressing through artistic incarnations with the grace, he manages to carry his distinctive style aross various mediums, currently focusing on classical painting.
“Death, sensuality, and vulnerability occur interchangeably in the same image, signified by bodies, skulls, and animals that are often associated with decay and transformation (notably, crows and snakes). However you interpret them, Morte’s paintings offer the viewer a contemplative dive into symbolic darkness.”

As a visual performer, Nick Morte is known for his live painting shows. From tattoo conventions, to stages of biggest music festivals, Nick mesmerizes the audience with speed paintings, produced from the scratch in matter of minutes.
Some of his memorable apperiences include Art Battle Oslo, Norway, in 2016 (winner) and Art Battle Christchurch, New Zealand in 2018 (winner of the first round) as well as striking art fusions with Trine Grimm at COPENHELL, TONS OF ROCK and ORGIUM SATANICUM music festivals in 2019.
